Old Orchard Beach
Welcoming people to its seven-mile stretch of sandy beach for more than 170 years.
This beach has lifeguards. Old Orchard’s Pier—which extends nearly 500 feet out over the Atlantic Ocean—is the center of the recreational offerings here. On the pier, you can shop, eat, play games of skill, enjoy the nightlife, go dancing, watch fireworks, listen to concerts, fish, or go on a whale watching or birdwatching tour.
You and your kids can also enjoy many Old Orchard Beachattractions like the Beachfront Palace Playland Park, which is the only beachfront amusement park in New England. You can play 18 holes of golf near the beach at the Dunegrass Golf Club.
One way you can reach Old Orchard Beach is aboard the Amtrak Downeaster, which stops just steps away from the beach. Old Orchard, Maine is a must-stop for family fun.

Exceptional "Nice Staff"
"The staff at Fireside Inn was very nice. We needed a place to hang out until our car was ready and they let us stay in our room longer without charging us extra. We then had to get a room for a second night due to our car not being ready. They were very accommodating"
